To vote in the election for the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough mayor you must live in any of the 6 Cambridgeshire and Peterborough council areas:
- City of Cambridge
- East Cambridgeshire
- Fenland
- Huntingdonshire
- Peterborough
- South Cambridgeshire
The deadline for registering to vote is Friday 11 April 2025.
Registering to vote is quick and simple, you can register online at GOV.UK.
To register to vote you must:
- live in Cambridgeshire or Peterborough
- be 18 or over on 1 May 2025
- be a British or European Union citizen who is qualified or has retained rights, or a Commonwealth citizen who does not require leave to remain in the UK
British citizens living overseas are not eligible to vote in this election.
You normally only need to register once - not for every election. You will need to register again if you have changed your name, address or nationality. It usually takes about 5 minutes.
